Every book earns base points from its length, multiplied by a challenge factor that depends on whether the profile is a Kid or Adult profile. Score 80% or higher on the quiz to pass — points then scale with your score (80% correct = 80% of base points, 100% = full points). Below 80%, no points, and you get a fresh quiz to retry. Books below 4th grade can't be logged at all.
Points never reset — they just keep adding up. Every 100 points earns a new level: Level 1 is 0–99 points, Level 2 is 100–199, Level 3 is 200–299, and so on forever. The bar at the top of the page shows progress toward the next level.
